Toxic Compassion: a Warning from Healthcare

Article in The Spectator Australia: Compassion is rightly regarded as one of the defining virtues of medicine. It is the force that calls many into healthcare—to ease suffering, to walk alongside patients in their most vulnerable moments, and to respond with genuine care.

Yet a serious question must be asked: what happens when compassion, left unexamined and without moral boundaries, is used to justify actions that cause harm?
