Saving Healthy Babies Bill 2025

This Bill will close an unethical loophole that currently exists in SA legislation.

SA data indicates that babies who are normal are being terminated at late gestations in non-emergency situations.

When this Amendment passes, women will still be allowed to end a pregnancy (if that is deemed necessary), and the baby will receive appropriate neonatal care.
